Over the years the work has grown into today's five programs, with three locations downtown and a warehouse for food aid. Here you will find our story, how we work and the organization's legal details. 2019 ### The beginning In September 2019 the organization is founded, with its first activities in the historic center. 2022 ### Into the Third Sector We become an APS ETS, registered in Italy's National Register of Third Sector Entities by deed no. 803 of July 26, 2022. 2025 ### The Dream Center The food aid warehouse opens, where boxes for families are packed. Today ### Five programs Food aid, homework help and after-school, language and music classes, Gospel Kids, counseling desk. ## Three kinds of poverty, one commitment Our work addresses three kinds of poverty: material, educational and personal. Each one has its own programs, described on the What we do page. ### Material poverty Food aid and the Dream Center Food picked up from the Banco delle Opere di Carità and food collected around the city is packed at the Dream Center and delivered to families. See our food aid ### Educational poverty Homework help, languages, music, Gospel Kids After-school tutoring with attention to special educational needs, English classes and Italian classes for foreigners, instruments, choir and music theory. See our counseling desk ## Our motto Love in Action The motto describes how we want to work: through concrete acts, from a box packed at the Dream Center to homework done together after school. ### In person Volunteers and staff work directly at the Dream Center, at food drives, in classrooms and in our classes. ### Listening We listen to what people ask for and help them find the right program. ### Clear rules We are registered in the RUNTS, everyone who takes part is entered in the member book, and a receipt is available for every gift. ## How we work Every program rests on three things: people who show up, real expertise and a network across the city. ### Volunteers They serve at the Dream Center, at supermarket food drives, in after-school classrooms and during events. You can spot them by the blue vest. ### Staff and professionals Alongside the volunteers work the organization's staff and professionals such as the licensed psychologists at the counseling desk. ### A network across the city We are a partner organization of the Banco delle Opere di Carità, the charity food bank in Brindisi, and we collect food together with supermarkets, schools and residents.
