Three volunteers packing crates of food among the shelves of the Dream Center

Volunteer

For many activities, you can start even without experience.

Why volunteer with us

Our volunteers work firsthand, in their city. The role is agreed upon together, based on available time and open activities.

  • In the city

At the Dream Center, in supermarkets during food drives, at our locations downtown.

  • As a team

You work as a team, together with the organization staff and other volunteers.

  • You learn by doing

At first, you are paired with someone already there. Then you choose where to help out.

  2. An introductory meeting

We meet, explain the activities, and figure out together where you can lend a hand.

  3. Shadowing

The first few times, you serve alongside an existing team member to learn how things work.

  4. Your shift

We arrange shifts together, based on your schedule and project needs.
